Ukrainian customs authoritiesare planning to adopt a procedure for granting the status of Authorised(Agreed) Exporter to companies which are engaged in trade with EFTA countries(Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Switzerland) and Montenegro*.
This procedure will allow Ukrainian exporters to benefit from the preferentialimport duty rate in EFTA countries and Montenegro without obtaining an EUR.1certificate.
The draft procedure states that the status could be granted to Ukrainianexporters which meet certain criteria.
We recommend companies which export goods and are planning to export goods toEFTA countries and Montenegro to consider applying for the status of AuthorisedExporter.
PwC is ready to help companies in conducting a self-review, adjusting or implementingrespective internal procedures and assist in obtaining the status from thecustoms authorities.
