AVELLUM Leads in the Largest Public Deals According to “TOP 50 Law Firms of Ukraine – 2016”

Kyiv, 1 December 2016 – AVELLUM leads in the number of the largest public deals аccording to the recently published “TOP 50 Law Firms of Ukraine – 2016” ranking. We have advised on 12 out of 50 largest public transactions, reported by this edition.

AVELLUM is also an undisputed leader in terms of the total value of handled transactions, which amounted to an impressive 78% of the value of all the TOP 50 largest public transactions over the past 12 months.

Our debt restructuring, banking and finance, and corporate/M&A practices traditionally were highly recognised by the ranking. The debt restructuring practice was included in TOP 2 law firms ranked by the research, while banking and finance and corporate/M&A are among TOP 3 best teams in the Ukrainian legal market in 2016.

AVELLUM reached the 9th place in the overall Ukrainian legal ranking having climbed 8 positions up as compared to 2015.

The annual ranking “TOP 50 Law Firms of Ukraine” defines market leaders based on a number of criteria, including the number of lawyers, firm’s profitability and financial efficiency, as well as complexity of effected transactions and resolved disputes.
