Kyiv, Ukraine, 13 January 2016 – Baker & McKenzie's Partner Ihor Olekhov has been re-elected as Co-Chair of the Banking and Financial Services Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, for the year 2016. Ihor Olekhov was first elected as Co-Chair of this Committee in 2011.

Since joining the Kyiv office of Baker & McKenzie in 1998, Ihor Olekhov has worked in the areas of banking and finance, financial regulation and compliance, acquisition finance, project finance focusing on infrastructure and renewable energy projects, mergers and acquisitions focusing on banking and financial services markets, capital markets, tax and corporate finance law, aviation law and wealth management.

Ihor Olekhov will co-chair the Committee with Mr. Taras Kyrychenko, Chairman of the Management Board, PRAVEX-BANK and Mr. Andriy Peretyazhko, First Vice President, AXA Insurance.

The Banking and Financial Services Committee is actively involved in development of the Ukrainian banking legislation and promotion of high quality banking standards helping to harmonize the Ukrainian banking environment with the best international practices. It is one of the most active and productive Committees of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine.
