Kyiv, Ukraine, 15 December 2015 - Baker & McKenzie Kyiv Associate Maksym Hlotov has been elected as a member of the Commission on Individual Payments under the National Bank of Ukraine Public Council. The role of the Commission on Individual Payments includes bringing together the capabilities of civil society institutions and financial industry professionals to improve the quality of advice given by the Public Council. The Commission on Individual Payments discusses matters prior to their submission to the Public Council for consideration.

The National Bank of Ukraine Public Council is a standing advisory body established in order to facilitate efficient collaboration between the National Bank of Ukraine and the community. The Public Council works towards facilitating stability of the banking system, safeguarding the interests of banking consumers, and develops proposals for improvement of Ukrainian legislation in the sector.
