Kyiv, Ukraine, 17 December 2015 – Viacheslav Yakymchuk, a Partner at Baker & McKenzie's Kyiv office, has been elected to the 2016 Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA).

Commenting on his membership, Viacheslav noted, “I’m very excited to join the UVCA Board and to be able to contribute my knowledge and experience and jointly with the other board members help develop Ukraine’s private equity industry and promote investments into Ukraine over the next year.”

Established in August 2014, the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) now includes 35 leading companies from the Ukrainian investment market. The Association shapes the future direction of the private equity industry by promoting investment opportunities in Ukraine, representing interests of private equity investors to policymakers and improving the investment and business climate in Ukraine.
