BDO, Kyiv, Ukraine, Kyiv, Ukraine, 23 February, 2012
On February 16 the audit and consulting firm BDO in Ukraine held a grand opening representation event in the city of Sevastopol. This will be the fifth city of the company’s regional representation in the country.
The event was attended by over 80 representatives of local businesses, including major enterprises in the region, financial and other sectors of the economy. Such an active interest is explained by the issues that were raised for discussion: search for additional sources of funding, IFRS as the language spoken by international financial investors, international structuring as an effective tool for optimizing the business as well as recent changes in the Ukrainian legislation. The organizers have made special focus on the issue of sustainable development of companies, which takes into account the non-financial performance indicators, and is relevant to the region.
The conference participants have been very active in the discussion, spoke openly about the problems faced by local businesses, called for closer cooperation and expressed confidence that the experience and best practices of international audit and consulting network, indeed, will benefit the local businesses and the community.
The services that BDO in Ukraine will provide in Crimea: audit of entities, accounting and tax practice, corporate finance advisory and risk management, management consulting, systems integration, training programs, valuation and legal practices, Sustainable Development services and other.
