Become a Mentor: Mentorship Pilot Program for Ukrainian Women Entrepreneurs
U.S. Department of Commerce,
Washington, D.C. May, 2024
To become a mentor, please contact Agnes Pawelkowska, Department of Commerce at Agnes.Pawelkowska@trade.gov
Our colleagues at the U.S. Department of Commerce are starting a pilot mentorship program for Ukrainian women entrepreneurs, who are looking for ways develop and expand their businesses.
Ukrainian women entrepreneurs will play a crucial role in supporting the Ukrainian economy now and in ongoing rebuilding efforts. Since the start of Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, many women entrepreneurs have become the sole bread winners while men fight in the front lines for Ukraine’s freedom. Positioning these women entrepreneurs for business success directly supports the Ukrainian economy in its time of need.
Please let us know if you might be interested in mentoring a Ukrainian woman entrepreneur. Such mentorship would require your time commitment in a form of eight (8) 60-minute individual sessions with a Ukrainian woman, who would be assigned to you.
We ask that you consider this opportunity. You can help change someone’s life while, at the same time, impacting Ukraine’s future.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor for a Ukrainian woman entrepreneur, please send an e-mail with your expression of interest to Agnes Pawelkowska, Department of Commerce at Agnes.Pawelkowska@trade.gov
