CARGILL AND RISOIL TO BUILD GRAIN TERMINAL AT ILLICHIVSK MERCHANT SEAPORT (ODESA REGION) BY 2014

KYIV - Cargill, one of the largest grain trading companies in the world, and the Risoil group of companies intend to build a grain terminal at the Illichivsk merchant seaport (Odesa region) by the year 2014.  Cargill announced this in a statement.

A protocol of intentions has been signed regarding the possibility of creating an enterprise at the cargo port in the town of Illichivsk. The aim is construction of a grain terminal on the territory of the port, the company said in the statement. The companies aim to commission the terminal in 2013.

Risoil is a private group of companies that engages in processing of food, trading in agricultural goods, transportation, and logistics in six countries. It began operation on the Ukrainian market in 2000.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Cargill A. T. grain trading company (Kyiv) ended 2009 with a net profit of UAH 568.257 million. Cargill engages in production and supply of food products and agricultural goods, as well as in provision financial services.
