CMS Cameron McKenna hosts CIS Investment Banking & Private Equity Group Reception in London
CMS Cameron McKenna, Kyiv, Ukraine, Monday, 04 April, 2011
KYIV - CMS Cameron McKenna hosted a reception in London on 25 March 2011 to mark the end of Ukrainian Business Week which took place during the week of 21 March 2011. The Ukrainian Business Week was organised by Centralex with support from the Administration of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the London based CIS Investment Banking and Private Equity Network.
This was the first event in a series of planned annual gatherings where high-ranking government officials and leading Ukrainian businesses meet international investors to discuss various economic, regulatory and business topics.
The reception gathered more than 60 guests from a variety of companies present in or otherwise doing business in Ukraine. The evening's hosts, Adam Mycyk, managing partner of CMS Cameron McKenna's Kyiv office and Graham Conlon, a London-based partner in our international private equity group, were joined by a number of other partners from our London and international offices in welcoming our guests.
Adam Mycyk, who heads our Corporate/M&A team in Kyiv, says: "CMS Cameron McKenna was very pleased to have been involved in the Ukrainian Business Week and honoured to have sponsored the Ukrainian Business Week. I trust that such meetings will facilitate a dialog between Ukrainian government officials and Ukrainian companies with investors and have a positive influence on the inflow of investment into Ukraine." Graham Conlon also comments: "Ukraine is an exciting market which has lots to offer in the medium to long term, and the quality of delegates at the Ukrainian Business Week was demonstrative of that fact."
