CMS Cameron McKenna has successfully represented Greenworx Holding, a Belgian developer of renewable energy projects, which, together with Guris Construction and Engineering Co. Inc., one of the largest construction companies in Turkey, acquired an indirect 100% interest in West-Crimean WES LLC ("WCW") from Ukr Wind Investments Ltd. WCW is developing a 250MW wind power project in Crimea.

The transaction was led by Adam Mycyk, Managing Partner and Head of Corporate/M&A, Vitaliy Radchenko, senior associate and coordinator of our Energy and Projects practice, and Yevheniy Deyneko, senior associate, Corporate/M&A, supported by lawyers in our real estate, corporate and energy practices. Our advice included overall management of the transaction, including due diligence, transaction documentation, and closing.

Adam Mycyk comments: "CMS Cameron McKenna has already worked on a number of similar projects in the Ukrainian renewables sector, and we are excited to have been able to help companies such as Greenworx Holding and Guris to develop renewable energy in Ukraine. Our strong regional capabilities in the renewables sector throughout Central and Eastern Europe, coupled with our local expertise, enables us to provide top quality assistance to developers and investors in the renewables sector, which we view as having tremendous potential in Ukraine”.
