Dentons expands its Ukrainian energy practice with arrival of Maksym Sysoiev

Kyiv, 23 February2015 - Maksym Sysoiev has joinedthe Kyiv office of Dentons as an associate in the Energy Practice. Maksym has nearlyten years of experience working in both international and domestic law firms inUkraine.

Maksym’s practice focuses onthe energy, oil and gas, agriculture, and infrastructure industries. He is highlyregarded in the energy arena with significant experience in providing legal adviceto both non-conventional and conventional energy projects, particularly in therenewables sector. Maksym is also well-versed in regulatory issues in the lifesciences sector as well as on anticorruption legislation.

Maksym is a legal expert atthe Ukrainian Bioenergy Association, at the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association, theState Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine.  He is also a member of the Commission onEnvironmental Investments, Alternative and Renewable Sources of Energy atEntrepreneurial Council of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
