DLA PIPER ADVISED ITE ON ACQUISITION OF BEAUTEXCO LLC IN UKRAINE

Kyiv – DLA Piper provided legal support to ITE, an international exhibition company, in its acquisition of a Ukrainian company BeautexCo LLC, an organizer of InterCHARM and Beauty Expo exhibitions in Ukraine. The acquisition was conducted by ITE International Holdings BV (the Netherlands), a subsidiary of ITE Group Plc (Great Britain). Value of the transaction is not disclosed.
InterCHARM and Beauty Expo exhibitions are among Ukraine's largest exhibitions of the beauty industry, cosmetics and aesthetic medicine. It is expected that the acquisition will help the Ukrainian business of ITE to win leading position in its key markets and sectors.
DLA Piper team provided full legal support to ITE within the frames of this transaction. In particular, the team performed transaction structuring, legal due diligence, obtained the approval of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine for concentration and concerted actions, advised on tax aspects of the deal, drafted all necessary transaction documents, provided negotiations support and supported the transaction closing.
