Kyiv – DLA Piper acted as a legal counsel to Europe Virgin Fund L.P. (EVF), private equity fund, in connection with its investment into Prime Group. Prime Group was established in 2008 and today is a leading outdoor advertising operator in the capital city of Ukraine, owning more than 2,300 and managing around 5,000 advertising displays. The EVF is a regional private equity fund sponsored by Dragon Capital with target size of $150 million.

The investment was structured through the acquisition of a controlling stake in Tetaxes Limited, a Cyprus holding company of Prime Group, by means of capital increase. Value of the transaction is not disclosed.

DLA Piper transaction team included Margarita Karpenko, Managing Partner and Alla Gavrushko, Senior Associate with Illya Muchnyk, Legal Director, representing the client during the negotiation of transaction documents and closing of the deal.
