DLA Piper contributes to 'Doing Business 2014' report

Lawyers from DLA Piper in Kyiv have contributed to the World Bank's 2014 Report on Doing Business, looking at the local market in Ukraine.
Published annually since 2003, the report provides objective measures of business regulations and their enforcement across 189 economies.
DLA Piper lawyers contribute annually on wide range of issues connected to business regulations in the country. In this year's report, Galyna Zagorodniuk provided updates on legislation surrounding business start-ups, alongside employment issues, and Dmytro Tkachenko investigated insolvency-related issues and how they are handled in Ukraine. Oleksandr Kurdydyk and Dmytro Pshenychniuk contributed to the Getting Credit section.
This year’s report covers 11 indicator sets and 189 economies. The project has benefited from feedback from governments, academics, practitioners and reviewers.
