DLA Piper has been named International Law Firm of the Year in Ukraine at the 2018 Legal Awards, held by Yuridicheskaya Practika Publishing House. This is the fifth time the office has won the award.

The Kiev office was also shortlisted in the Best Law Firm category for Employment, and Pharmaceuticals & Medicine. DLA Piper's Managing Partner in Ukraine, Margarita Karpenko, was also shortlisted in the Best Partner category.

Established in 2006, Legal Awards ceremony aims to recognise outstanding law firms and lawyers' work in Ukraine, with winners being chosen by an independent panel of judges from the legal and business sector and The Yuridicheskaya Practika Weekly, a professional Ukrainian publication for lawyers and in-house counsels.
