DLA Piper has promoted Kyiv-based Corporate lawyer Alla Kozachenko to its global partnership as part of the firm's annual promotions round, effective 1 May 2019. With this promotion, DLA Piper has now eight partners in Kyiv.

Alla Kozachenko focuses her practice on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and corporate law. With over 17 years of experience, Alla represents strategic and private equity buyers, sellers and shareholders in all stages of their operations, from pre-acquisition planning and legal due diligences, to transaction structuring, drafting and negotiating acquisition and related agreements, as well as post-acquisition integration. Her clients include Fortune 500 and large Ukrainian companies across a broad range of sectors, including telecommunications, IT, hospitality, agriculture and pharmaceuticals. Alla received master's degrees from the Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, as well as from the Institute of Intellectual Property and Law. Alla has also been ranked as one of the top Corporate/M&A lawyers in Ukraine by international and Ukrainian legal directories (Chambers Europe, IFLR 1000, Legal 500 EMEA, Ukrainian Law Firms.
