DLA PIPER RECOGNIZED AS BEST FIRM FOR WOMEN IN LAW IN UKRAINE

DLA Piper was named as the Best Firm for Women in Business Law in Ukraine at the Euromoney Women in Business Law Awards, held in London this June. 

Being present in more than 30 countries of the world DLA Piper develops its diversity initiative Leadership Alliance for Women (LAW) - which was named as the Best Gender Diversity Initiative by an International Firm at the Awards and focusses on mentoring, bespoke skills training and networking for female lawyers at DLA Piper. The firm is proud to provide equal work opportunities, training as well as opportunities to build their careers to its women employees globally. 

Margarita Karpenko, Managing Partner of the Kyiv office, Natalia Kochergina, Partner and Head of Real Estate, and Svitlana Musienko, Partner and Head of Tax, took part at the Awards ceremony and received the Ukrainian award. Personally Natalia Kochergina and Svitlana Musienko were shortlisted as best lawyers at the European level in Real Estate and Tax Disputes respectively.

At the ceremony DLA Piper was also named as the Best Firm for Women in Business Law in Norway, as well as Poland, while Litigation & Regulatory partner Jo Rickards from London office was named as the winner of the Best in White Collar Crime Award.
