WASHINGTON, D.C. - Ecolab, Inc., a Fortune 500 company headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services, has been approved for membership in the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), the USUBC executive committee announced today.  The announcement was made on behalf of the entire USUBC membership of 200 companies and organizations who have business operations, investments or other development programs in Ukraine.

 

Ecolab joins five other Fortune 500 type companies, Amway, DuPont Pioneer, Intel, Philip Morris, Visa, who have recently become members of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).

ECOLAB LLC UKRAINE

Ecolab has been active in Ukraine since 1999.  Their main activities include providing professional services and training for cleaning, pest elimination, industrial laundry, textile care, food safety, for institutions such as hotels and restaurants, food/beverage and pharmaceutical companies. Ecolab trains people how to use their products, how to clean properly, disinfect, etc.

They buy products from Ecolab Belgium, but some cleaning products will eventually be produced in Ukraine. Currently, they use about 350 products in Ukraine. They are planning to bring some new products to Ukraine soon. Some of their clients in Ukraine have included Kraft, Danone, Nestle; Coca-Cola, Sandora, Sun Interbrew, Carlsberg, Lactalis, and Nasha Rjaba.  

ECOLAB LLC AND USUBC

USUBC has been working with Anatolii Kindybaliuk, Country Manager and Food and Beverage Manager for Ukraine and with Oleksandr Staryk, Logistic Manager, Logistic Department for ECO LLC headquartered in Kyiv. Ecolab, according to Manager Kindybaliuk, is in the process of expanding their products and services in Ukraine.
