BDO in Ukraine presented to the citizens Rivne its representative office in the region. The office in Rivne became the sixth regional representative office of BDO in Ukraine. Its opening is very up to date, since the company already has the clients in the region. In addition, this is well-developed chemical, consumer and woodworking industry, which geographical location near border makes the region attractive for investments.

At the presentation the business issues were discussed, such as adoption of the International Financial Reporting Standards, international structuring, new sources of attracting additional finance for enterprise development and etc.

About 40 representatives of local business attended the event. BDO was greeted with its arrival in the region by Mr. Vladimir Vorochuk, Chief Executive of the Rivne local department for the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, who also informed the participants about the commission requirements set for the reporting.

Аllа Savchenko, president of the BDO in Ukraine, remarked: "The year 2012 is a year of the International Financial Reporting Standards adoption. We want to help business to get ready for this process and gain as much benefit from it as possible. It opens new opportunities in attraction of investment, receipt of loans on affordable terms, and finding the best foreign partners possible".
