On 6 June 2012 Fryday Kyiv hosted CMS Cameron McKenna’s presentation on how to prepare a company for sale or raise additional finance, which took place at Restaurant Martini Terazza. The speaker was Graham Conlon, an English-qualified corporate partner, Head of our Corporate and M&A practice in the Kyiv office and the Deputy Global Head of International Private Equity at CMS Cameron McKenna. The presentation was aimed primarily at companies, directors and shareholders who are planning to realise their investment through a sale or who seek to obtain additional finance.

Graham started the presentation with useful information and tips on exit methods, including step-by-step instructions with emphasis on the need to prepare the company for sale throughout the life span of the investment, and continued with practical advice on commonly-encountered exit hurdles and partial exits. Graham also addressed the issue of how to minimise liability on a sale and which post-sale actions are to be taken. Guests enjoyed the lively and interactive presentation.

Graham Conlon comments: “We are very grateful to Anders Ostlund and Gustav Hultgren, owners of Fryday Kyiv, for the invitation to present at one of the Fryday events. We hope that my presentation was useful and we would be happy to continue our cooperation and share our knowledge among Fryday Kyiv guests.”

Anders Östlund, founder of Fryday: “We are very pleased with the presentation conducted by Graham Conlon at the Fryday W event on behalf of CMS Cameron McKenna. The audience of 50 people gave very positive feedback and the presence of partners and sponsors indicates a positive development and further growth of the Fryday W concept."
