KYIV - The Gvozdiy & Oberkovych Law Firm has once again achieved an impressive spread of rankings in the publication Legal Practice (Yuridicheskaya Praktika) weekly when they unveiled the results of its 14th annual legal market survey Top 50 Law Firms in Ukraine.

In particular, the firm rose 5 positions from its 17th place in 2009 and got its 12th place in the 2010 ranking chart featuring all, local and international, law firms in Ukraine. It also entered the poll of Top 10 Ukrainian law firms in the respective ranking, which admitted local law firms only.

As regards financial data studied, Gvozdiy & Oberkovych ranked among Top 5 law firms in Ukraine for revenue and No. 2 law firm for financial efficiency. The firm was also named as one of Top 15 law firms in Ukraine, highly praised for reputation and continuous development in the peer-to-peer research.
 
The high level of the projects led and disputes settled by Gvozdiy & Oberkovych Law Firm in 2010 were acknowledged in a series of transactional charts. Thus, the firm acted for Donegal FRS in the USD 412 million investment project on development and construction of a bioelectricity facility, which treats as one of the Top 50 corporate deals in Ukraine.

Tax practice of the firm was especially regarded for handling three out of 15 major tax disputes in Ukraine. and two out of 50 major litigation and arbitration cases in Ukraine were resolved by attorneys of Gvozdiy & Oberkovych Law Firm.
