InterContinental Kyiv concierge, Oleksiy Nikitan, has been inducted into Les Clefs d'Or - a prestigious professional concierge association with international membership. The worldwide association boasts more than 3,000 members in 50 countries.

Each member of the association bears upon their jacket two crossed golden keys - the Les Clefs d'Or insignia - recognized over the world as a symbol of dedication and experience.

In order to qualify for this premier recognition, applicants require a minimum of five years experience in the hotel industry as well as at least three years as a full-time, lobby-level concierge. Recipients of the signature lapel pins represent providers of extraordinary service who consistently achieve high levels of guest satisfaction.

A Les Clefs d'Or concierge is trained to guide, inform, and advise visitors throughout their hotel stays. Whether it is a simple request or a complex problem, their function is to cater to their guests' needs. Members of Les Clefs d'Or pride themselves in learning about their cities and surroundings, refining their expert knowledge of local restaurants, theaters, events, and sightseeing destinations in order to help guests get the most from their visits. Les Clefs d'Or concierges are professionally trained individuals who have built up their skills and contacts over many years, to open doors throughout their cities and, indeed, around the world.

“InterContinental understands and appreciates the importance of the Concierge service to hotel guests. It is the world’s first hotel brand to provide destination specific websites and videos, produced by our concierge teams around the world, to enhance guests’ interaction with the local area and add colour to their visiting experience. My task is to ensure that our guests get the most out of their stay in Kyiv; whether they require directions, or inspiration. I have a vast knowledge of the entire area - so I can recommend restaurants or activities no matter where my guests may be going. I always have my finger on the pulse of the city.” - Oleksiy commented.
