InterContinental Kyiv is launching Art Lobby project to support Ukrainian art

On October 16th,2013 another place of interest will pop up on the cultural map of the city -InterContinental Kyiv will launch the "Art Lobby "  project aimed to support Ukrainian artistsand  promote Ukrainian modern art amonghotel guests.

The project willopen the exhibition of the famous Kyiv artist Vladislav Shereshevsky whosepaintings are known for distinctive style, amazing irony, irresistible charmand a high level of classical painting mastery. Shereshevsky's paintingspresented in various private collections. Intercontinental Kyiv hotel is proudto present its guests a series of the artist’s paintings. At first sight, the styleof his painting is rather prosaic, but each work by Shereshevsky hides aphilosophical idea, the answer  to whichmay lie in the details, in the title of a painting. 

"InterContinentalKyiv is launching the project "Art Lobby" to present our guests thebest examples of modern Ukrainian art, introduce them the cultural life of Kyiv,” said the hotel's General Manager Jean-Baptiste Pigeon. “Also the main goalof the project is to support modern art in Ukraine. We hope that the "ArtLobby " will make the visits to the city galleries an integral  part of itinerary of our  guests .

Exhibition ofVladistav Shereshevsky in the lobby of InterContinental Kyiv hotel will be fromOctober 16th till  November 1, 2013 . Theproject "Art Lobby " will feature such famous Ukrainian artists asAnatoly Krivolap, Oksana Mas, Sergey Poyarkov, Alexander Roitburd, Les’Podervyansky and others.
