OMAHA...December 6, 2013 - Intersystems announced December 6 David Gau as its new chief executive officer. Gau, 48, is an Omaha native with a history of building and operating multi-national corporations, most recently as executive vice president of global commercial operations for Gates Corp. Prior to joining Gates Corp., David was president of Air System Components, a division of Tomkins.

"David's experience building global businesses makes him the right person to lead Intersystems as it evolves to serve an expanding roster of domestic and international customers. He's a proven leader, who thinks strategically and develops teams that focus on delivering results for customers," said Michael Nelson, Pritzker Group Private Capital investment partner.

Gau is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
