Investment Workshop – Success always comes with preparation

Ogilchyn Capital investment company, CMS Cameron McKenna law firm, and Kreston GCG auditing firm hosted an investment workshop Success always comes with preparation. Prepare your business for investments dedicated to the importance of preparing a company for potential financing or foreign investments. The event was held on the 5Th March in Kyiv at Fairmont Grand Hotel and was supported by USUBC.
The participants had an opportunity to meet and discuss all aspects of financing, to hear the position of global financing institutions such as the IFC, the IMF, and representatives from several major banks on their expectations from Ukrainian businesses, as well as to get forecasts for 2013. They also received insights on the Ukrainian market perspective, international structuring, taxation, and auditing from experienced professionals.
In particular, Max Alier, IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine, noted: “In addition to a stable and predictable macroeconomic environment, structural reforms are still needed in Ukraine to foster investment.” Mr. Alier also underscored the importance of clearly defining and adequately enforcing property rights to create a business friendly environment.
The workshop was attended by owners and top managers of Ukrainian companies planning to secure financing for business development.
