Lana Sinichkina, Counsel at Arzinger, spoke at the conference “Commercial Contracts and Dispute Resolution Variants” which took place on 9 February 2012. This event gathered legal departments heads of leading Ukrainian companies, corporate lawyers, representatives of audit, consulting and law firms for purposes of discussion current topics of business conduction.

Relying on their own experience leading Ukrainian lawyers shared proven strategies for supporting business partners in order to clear obstacles and to resolve disputes successfully and presented their opinion to such issues as commercial disputes in court practice of Ukraine,   variants of dispute resolutions, practice of conclusion of “reliable” agreements, experience in execution of foreign economic contracts and protection of interest before international arbitration.

Presentation “Commercial Contract: Perception of Lawyers and Business. Practical Recommendations – how to make the process effective” made by Lana Sinichkina aroused interest of the conference’s participants as it concerned practical aspects of a company’s daily operation. Lana presented pros for contracts’ application in practice and introduction of a contractual procedure in a company. She also gave a detailed description of the legal nature of a “contract”. In conclusion of her presentation Lana recommended companies what documents to make subject to contractual procedures and what methods to use for effective management of a contractual procedure.

Lana Sinichkina joined Arzinger’s team at the beginning of 2012 and will strengthen pharmaceutical, antitrust and competition practices. Lana will also work in IT, cosmetics and food industries.
