Markian Malskyy, attorney-at-law, Dr. jur., Head of the West Ukrainian Branch Office of Arzinger was elected Deputy Head of the Advisory Board at Lviv Oblast Prosecutor's Office which is a permanent collective agency at the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine for the establishment of effective relations with civil society institutions. The Advisory Board (Group) at Lviv Oblast Prosecutor's Office is a public service, voluntary and pro-bono entity.   

The Advisory Board may be comprised of people's deputies, representatives from public unions, human rights organizations, charities, trade unions, mass media, scientists, other representatives from civil society organizations. Members of the Advisory Board are elected for two years. Members of the Advisory Board may establish the following committees: Social Rights Committee; Committee for Protection of Rights in Criminal Justice; Children's Rights and Freedoms Committee; Committee for Protection of Rights to Safe Environment; Land Rights Committee; Committee for Protection of Rights to Legal Business Activity etc.

Tasks of the Advisory Board are:

• supporting the General Prosecutor's Office by performance of tasks of the public prosecutor's office stated in the Constitution and the Law of Ukraine "On Public Prosecutor's Office" as to establishment of the rule of law,  protection of citizens and the state from illegal interferences, improvement of the public image of the prosecutor's office;
• establishment of effective relations with civil society institutions; 
• taking into account public opinion by discussion and approval of decisions on activity of the public prosecutor's office, discussion, development and implementation of public initiatives related to such issues;
• facilitating transparency of public prosecutor's office, ensuring public accessibility of information on its activity, except information with restricted access;
• supporting in measures directed at protection of legal interests of public prosecutor's office employees and their families;
• supporting establishment of conditions making impossible to abuse public prosecutor's office for restriction of public rights and freedoms or in favour of single persons, political parties, public organizations. 

Markian Malskyy has vast experience in public activity. He is, in particular, an Of counsel of the Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration for foreign economic activity, member of the organization committee of the Annual International Economic Forum in Lviv, member at the Council of National and Foreign Investors at Lviv Regional State Administration, Member of the Board of the Lviv Division of the Ukrainian Bar Association and a number of other public organizations. Mr. Malskyy specializes in providing legal support in investment projects (commercial, real estate and corporate law matters) as well as representing clients’ interests before judicial authorities of Ukraine and dispute settlement under the procedures of commercial and investment arbitration. He has extensive experience in corporate dispute settlement in the energy sector, contractual disputes, trade and real estate disputes, enforcement of foreign court judgments and arbitral awards, real estate and M&A transactions.
