Markian Malskyy, Partner at Arzinger Law Firm, Head of its West Ukrainian Office, Attorney-at-law  spoke at the conference “Managing client relationships: a multigenerational approach” held on 20-22 June 2012 in Munich, Germany. The conference was presented by the Young Lawyers’ Committee, the Senior Lawyers’ Committee and the Law Firm Management Committee of the International Bar Association. The conference was attended by law firm partners and associates, bar representatives, professionals interested in hearing leading lawyers address current issues affecting the internal operations of law firms.

During the conference following key issues were discussed:

  • cultivating a strong team despite tough economic circumstances;
  • how to attract good lawyers;
  • how to retain good lawyers;
  • how to maintain contact to good lawyers.

During the conference Markian Malskyy presented his report on the subject: “How to maintain contact to good lawyers”. Being Head of the West-Ukrainian Branch Office Mr Malskyy shared gained experience regarding such issues as outplacement, alumni programmes, social networks.
