NBU Extends the Term of Foreign Lender Loans Prepayment Prohibition (update)

By its Resolution No. 245, effective as of 1 May 2014, the National Bank ofUkraine (the "NBU") extended the term of the prohibition of early repayment ofloans provided by non-resident lenders until 1 June 2014.

Furthermore, according to Resolution No. 245, the NBU shall not registeramendments to loan agreements with non-resident lenders reducing the term offulfillment of the resident borrowers' obligations under such loan agreementsor providing for early fulfillment of obligations thereunder.
