Oleksander Plotnikov, Counsel of Banking and Finance practice at Arzinger Law Office, was invited to the working group on drafting Laws of Ukraine “On Consumer Crediting” and “On Amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding establishment of a system for protection of financial service consumers on financial markets of Ukraine”. This working group has been established by the Committee of the Parliament of Ukraine for finances, banking, tax and customs policy and comprises leading banking and financial experts.

The goal of the working group is to draft laws helping to establish an actually working mechanism for protection of financial service consumer rights in Ukraine and to restore population’s trust in banks.
