Anna Zorya, Partner at Corporate/M&APractice at Arzinger Law Firm, participated at the round table"Franchising Law – Assistance to Small and Medium Business" held on 2April 2014 by the Franchising Development Federation of Ukraine. This event wasattended by experts from business circles and representatives of the Federationwho had an opportunity to voice their opinion and suggestions in order toimprove the franchising legislation.

In her report "Franchising:Legislative Initiatives" spoke Anna Zorya briefly about her views/attitudeto the situation on the Ukrainian franchising market and amendments that haveto be introduced to the respective legislation of Ukraine as soon as possible.

Based on the global experience andUkrainian reality the participants discussed the necessary novelties/amendmentsto the current legislation suggested by others. They also have composed a planof actions to be taken in order to implement the suggested amendments.
