22 November 2010, Kyiv: Salans has advised AgroGeneration on its acquisition of Vinal, a Ukrainian agricultural group. Salans’ lawyers provided legal assistance on the acquisition by the client of an agricultural group, from legal due diligence and transaction structuring to preparation of a shareholders’ agreement and closing of the transaction. The legal work also included the preparation of a number of share purchase and escrow agreements and legal advice on various corporate, tax, labour and land lease issues, as well as handling the antimonopoly filing.
