Kyiv, 9 September 2013. EY, a global leader in audit, tax and law, transactions and advisory, has announced a significant enhancement of the Ukrainian Customs & International Trade practice, with several experienced customs practitioners joining EY Ukraine.

Igor Dankov, Robert Zeldy and Anton Melnyk join the existing team of experienced customs advisors, which includes customs consultants with experience in the Ukrainian customs office and customs lawyers. This change makes our Customs & International Trade practice the largest and strongest such practice amongst Big 4 and legal firms in Ukraine.

Igor Dankov has joined EY’s Ukrainian Customs & International Trade practice as a Customs Senior Manager and will be heading this specialized practice. Igor is a customs lawyer with 23 years of experience in Ukrainian customs law and with 18 years of experience providing customs advice in Ukraine at another Big 4 firm. Igor has co-chaired the Customs Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce for a number of years and has a strong industry background.

Robert Zeldy has also joined our Customs & International Trade practice as a Customs Manager. Robert is a customs lawyer and has dealt with Ukrainian customs matters for approximately 15 years, including the last four years at another Big 4 firm. Robert also has significant customs brokerage experience. Igor and Robert advised the Ukrainian government and the Parliament during the drafting of the current Customs Code. Both of them are authors of many articles on customs topics in the mass media.

Anton Melnyk has joined our Customs & International Trade practice as a Customs Senior Consultant. Anton is an experienced customs lawyer who served in the Ukrainian Customs Office for four years. Anton also has two years’ experience providing customs advice with another Big 4 firm.
