This time IT professionals, senior software development executives, and product owners gathered to discuss SaaS development and operations at the SaaS Lunch and Learn Presentation in Lehi, Utah.
Held at the Thanksgiving Point Executive Suites Conference Center on October 18th, the "SaaS and Cloud Computing Marketplace Primer" half-day discussion was moderated by Russell Hertzberg, VP of SaaS/ISV Solutions and Certified ScrumMaster, and Serhiy Haziyev, Director of Software Architecture. Russ and Serhiy joined efforts to dispel common SaaS model, architecture, and operations pattern misconceptions, and provide practical input based on specific completed project experience. The event turned into a lively and highly interactive discussion covering the current concerns, challenges, and efforts of the attendees.
“Case study based interactive workshops can be a powerful catalyst for helping ISVs conceptualize and evaluate multiple approaches to SaaS implementation. We plan to continue to share our project experiences with software professionals to help them gain insight and advantage in addressing current SaaS opportunities” said Russ Hertzberg.
Russell Hertzberg will also be speaking at The Cloud Channel Summit on November 7th; and Vasyl Mylko, SoftServe`s R&D Director, will be speaking at the second annual All About Mobile conference on November 15th.
