“UIA gives fullattention to different social projects. We regard partnership with national andinternational funds and NGOs to be our priority when implementing our SRprogram, – noted Evgeniya Satska, UIA Corporate Press Secretary. – Regrettably, the issue of carrying passengers with special needs – the disabled, thewounded, non-ambulatory patients, etc. – has become burning because of thechallenging situation in Eastern Ukraine. UIA has vast experience in organizingtransportation requiring special skills, equipment and specific conditionsaboard. The airline purchased additional equipment set designed to providelying passengers with special conditions during both medium and long haulflights. Effective January 1, 2015, UIA carried over 120 wounded soldiers, illchildren and their companions. I assure you that UIA wings are always at thecall of those who need them”.
