UIA offers passengers new post-sales travel options

As of March 28,2014, Ukraine International Airlines and Tenon & Groove, LLC (Optiontown)expand the airline`s service selection by offering passengers new post-salesoptions.
At the stage ofproject trial UIA offers passengers to take advantage of two new options namelyUpgrade Travel Option (UTo)* and Preffered Flight Option, (PFo)*. The PFo isnot available to transit passengers.
The new servicesare available to passengers of UIA medium-haul international and domesticflights in case tickets have been purchased at UIA ticket offices, on UIAwebsite or via the carrier`s call center.
Having purchased aticket for UIA flight a passenger receives an SMS and an e-mail containinginformation on new options. Detailed data is available on UIA official website.
To make use of thenew service a passenger needs to visit Optiontown website, sign-up, and choose an appropriate option.Completing the sign-up for Optiontownwebsite a passenger agrees to read carefully and understandthe information displayed and accepts the Terms of Service and Conditions ofUse.

*Using the UTo apassenger is provided with an opportunity to get an upgrade to Business Classand to save up dramatically if compared to regular Business Class fares. Torequest an upgrade a passenger needs to book an Economy Class ticket,visit www.optiontown.com, enter his bookingreference, last name and e-mail address to retrieve booking, select the flighthe would like to be upgraded, pay the sign-up fee (0 UAH within the trialperiod) and a nominal additional Upgrade fare (100 – 400 USD depending onflight route and demand). Afterwards, the passenger receives an e-mail 24 hoursprior to departure notifying if his upgrade was successful. In case serviceupgrade is not available, the upgrade price is fully and automatically refundedwithin five business days after departure.
ThePFo service provides passengers with an opportunity to change the departuredate for more suitable at a lower rate. To request a Preferred Flight apassenger needs to purchase an Economy Class ticket, visit www.optiontown.com, enter his booking reference, last name,and e-mail to retrieve his booking, indicate if the preferred flight is on thesame day or up to 14 (fourteen) days after the scheduled departure date, selectthe preferred flight from the list of flights displayed, and pay a sign-up fee(0 UAH within the trial period) and a nominal Preferred Flight Service price(20 – 100 USD depending on flight route and demand. Note that regular feestarts from 50 USD). The passenger will be notified via email if he has beenshifted to his preferred flight. Once the passenger confirms his choice ofpreferred flights and completes the PFo sign-up, Ukraine International Airlinesand Optiontown may choose to move him to those preferred flights. Theavailability of PFo is dynamic and may vary for different flights and departuredates. Service is not allowed for transit passenger. In case the PFo isnot available, the Preferred Flight price is fully and automatically refundedwithin five business days after departure.
