Ukrainian journalists attended the first Media Club, organized by DuPont Pioneer

On March, 12, journalists from the agrarian media took part in the Media Club event organized uniquely in Ukraine by the world’s leading seed company DuPont Pioneer.
DuPont Pioneer Media Club is a community consisting of journalists from key Ukrainian media which discover agrarian business activity. The goal of the Club is to improve mutual understanding and encourage an open dialogue with company’s representatives. It is planned that Media Club meetings will be organized on the regular base, and each event will be devoted to the most relevant topic.
Logistics and on-time delivering questions were the main topic of the first event. Participants met in unusual place – Kyiv Planetarium that additionally highlighted the planetary scale DuPont Pioneer activity and its commitment to global task to feed the world’s growing population.
DuPont Pioneer representatives - Jeff Rowe, Regional Director, Europe, Csaba Molnár, Commercial Unit Director, Eastern Europe, and Dmytro Shapovalov, Supply Chain Manager, Eastern Europe - delivered messages about main activity of DuPont Pioneer in the world, Europe and Ukraine, focused on Core Values as success factors, and discussed supply chain principles of delivering seeds to Ukrainian growers.
During the interactive part of the event journalists with top-managers participated in the business game “Logic of Logistics”. Placing together the puzzles of the big map participants marked the optimal routes of delivering DuPont Pioneer seeds from different countries to Ukraine and in this way settled new received information on practice.
A spectacular journey through ages, from the very beginning till the modern activities, all the participants could watch at the big dome of the Planetarium. A different visual experience with corporate film dazed audience’s with a giant screen scale. After the main part journalists had the opportunity to talk directly with company’s managers in informal discussion.

I believe that Media Clubwill serve as a good platform for maintaining communication between DuPont Pioneer and our partners, meet colleagues-journalists with company’s management and give the opportunity to receive answers on relevant questions. This unique experience can be the good example how international company DuPont Pioneer builds transparent communication in Ukraine”, - said Anna Babich, Communication Consultant for Ukraine at DuPont Pioneer.
