Arzinger was highly rated in the practice areas Antitrust and Competition, Energy and Natural Resources, Foreign Trade, International Arbitration, Land, Litigation, Medicine & Healthcare / Pharmaceuticals, Real Estate and Construction, and Bankruptcy by “Ukrainian Law Firms 2012. A Handbook for Foreign Clients” published this spring.
Over the years, the ranking has been assessing law firms’ performance in the Ukrainian market in particular practice areas. Arzinger was recognized as one of the leaders in the practice areas Energy and Natural Resources, Foreign Trade, International Arbitration, Land, Litigation, Medicine & Healthcare / Pharmaceuticals, Real Estate and Construction, and Bankruptcy. In addition to Arzinger’s traditional involvement in Real Estate and Land Law the firm took a strong position in the actively developing practice areas. The increasing number of projects along with the firm’s steady presence in the market opens broad prospects for Arzinger’s further improvement in such areas as Energy, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, and International Trade.
The research team has also provided a comprehensive outfit of individual performance in the legal market. This year Arzinger’s lawyers appeared in the first tiers: Timur Bondaryev, managing partner - in Land Law, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, Real Estate and Construction; Sergiy Shklyar, Senior Partner - in Antitrust and Competition, Litigation and Bankruptcy; Wolfram Rehbock, senior partner - in Energy; Markian Malskyy, partner - in International Arbitration. The strong positions of lawyers lay a basis for Arzinger’s future high scores in these areas.
Compared with the previous year, a greater number of Arzinger’s practice areas and lawyers have been recommended by the rating, which speaks for the unconditional strengthening of the firm’s position on the local market.
