The XVIII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Problematic Issues of Intellectual Property (IP)”, organized by the State Service for Intellectual Property of Ukraine, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the European Patent Office and the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, was held in Yalta on September 12-16, 2011.

The conference participants discussed the problems and prospects associated with the development of a system of legal protection for intellectual property, the legal protection of intellectual property rights in courts, the use of copyright and neighboring rights, and other pressing intellectual property issues.
