OnMay 19th, LIGABiznesInform Press Center hosted a press conference ofVasil Kisil & Partners Law Firm. The day before, on May 18, 2015, VasilKisil & Partners marked its 23rd anniversary. The company announced anumber of changes involving both internal reorganization and visual redesign ofthe firm's identity. 

Thefirm's partners informed about an important managerial decision to elect Andriy Stelmashchukas a new managing partner of the firm. 

Thefirm also introduced a new corporate identity and logo. 

Thechanges announced at the press conference reflect the firm's business developmentstrategy and key values of the brand: a national Ukrainian law firm operating underinternational standards, leading the changes and introducing innovativesolutions. 

Dr. Vasil I. Kisil, Senior Partner withthe firm, noted that the Board of Partners decided to introduce a new corporatemanagement principle: "Managing Partner shall be elected by the Board ofPartners for a definite term and this position will be successive. Internationalcompanies consider such principle as a standard. In our case, the idea ofre-electing the managing partner and introducing a new principle of thesuccession-based management came from Oleg Makarov. On behalf of our firm’spartners and on my own, I would like to thank Oleg for nine years of hissuccessful management of VKP.” 

Oleg Makarov,Managing Partner with Vasil Kisil & Partners, noted when handing over thereins of management to Partner Andriy Stelmashchuk: “The succession of managementto a partner who, for the first time in the history of the Ukrainian market, isnot a founder of the firm but has actually grown up inside it as a lawyer and aprofessional is both a challenge and a chance. Thestrategies we have approved and the goals we pursue now call for a new visionand for changes that Andriy will handle”.
