Vasil Kisil& Partners acted as a legal advisor on selling JSC LIEPĀJAS METALURGS, thelargest industrial enterprise in Latvia with its own port facility producingand selling steel products internationally. At the turn of 2014, the finalfinancial and legal documents were executed for the purpose of the assetstransfer to the Latvian subsidiary of KVV Group, a leading Ukrainian groupactive in the scrap metal business. The total value of the deal amounts to EUR107 million.

Vasil Kisil & Partners advised on theUkrainian law matters on the seller’s side for this transaction. In particular,the lawyers were involved in reviewing the transaction documents and conductingcorporate due diligence and issued legal opinions to the seller of JSC LIEPĀJASMETALURGS and its major creditors.
