On 18-19 April Oksana Voynarovska took part in the IBA Employment and Discrimination Law Conference presented by the IBA Employment and Industrial Relations Committee and the IBA Discrimination and Equality Law Committee, supported by the IBA European Regional Forum. The conference focused on globalisation and technology shifts pushing the labour agenda.

The main topics covered during the conference included:

• The 21st century demographic gap in the global workforce
• Executive compensation in the financial services industry – new regulations and compliance challenges for employers
• The evolving stakeholders role of trade/labour unions in the modern global workplace
• Continuing labour market reforms: is the end in sight?
• New ways of work and new employer challenges
• Emerging strands in equality at work
• Where have all the women gone?
• The new generation: fitting a square into a round hole

Employment lawyers, human resources professionals, lawyers working for government organisations and in-house counsel involved in advising labour disputes attended the event in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
