Oksana Voynarovska, partner with Vasil Kisil & Partners, acted as a speaker at the 18th Annual International Wealth Transfer Practice Conference, which was organized in London by the International Bar Association (IBA).

Now in its 18th year, this world leading event regularly attracts over 150 eminent legal, business and regulatory professionals from more than 40 jurisdictions to examine the hottest issues involving international wealth transfer, private clients’ taxes, estate planning and much more. The conference is presented by the IBA Individual Tax and Private Client Committee and supported by the IBA Family Law Committee and the IBA European Regional Forum.

As part of the session dedicated to dealing with difficult assets Oksana Voynarovska focused on the peculiarities of wealth transfer legislation in Ukraine in particular with regards to jewels, luxury, old cars, investment, and cash. Other topics covered during the conference included how to go about busting a trust on a divorce, structuring at the seam of profit and non-profit: philanthropy – impact investing – social enterprises, deathbed planning, wealth transfer and succession planning.

Lawyers, solicitors, notaries, trust officers, family officers, accountants, private bankers and other professionals involved in advising private clients attended the event.
