For centuries, russification has denied the people of Ukraine of their achievements and their rightful identity. The independence of Ukraine is allowing Ukraine to reclaim its history and that of its people.

The U.S.-Ukraine Foundation seeks to identify "30 Stars of Ukraine" who in the past thirty years of Ukraine's independence have made significant achievements in their field and contributed to promoting Ukraine's image internationally.

Recipients will be selected by a committee organized by the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation. They will be recognized on December 16, 2021 at a special event of Ukraine in Washington and Beyond series that will be dedicated to celebrating the people of Ukraine and their achievements. 

We encourage all interested persons and organizations to submit nominations by Sunday, November 21, 2021, in English or Ukrainian language using the following form:

Please note that this is not a contest or competition but a way to recognize Ukrainians from many spheres of life who have contributed to Ukraine's image during these thirty years of independence.
