YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND a USUBC Workshop on the "Programs and Servicesof the U.S. Commercial Service And On Programs of Commercial and Industrial Banks for Short and Long-Term Financing of U.S. Exports to Ukraine." The USUBC workshop will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2010 in Kyiv, Ukraine from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by a reception, at the offices of SigmaBleyzer, 4-A Baseyna Street, Mandarin Plaza, 8th Floor.  Companies may send more than one representative to the workshop.  Companies may invite their importers, dealers, distributors and other trade and business partners in Ukraine to the workshop.

Cheryl Dukelow will make a presentation on the programs andactivities in Ukraine of the U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Department of Commerce (see bio information below) (www.BuyUSA.gov/Ukraine; www.export.gov).  

The commercial and industrial bank representatives will then make presentations about their short and long-term financing programs for United States exports to Ukraine, such as agricultural input supplies, agricultural and industrial machinery, and other products exported from the USA to Ukraine.  There will be a discussion and question and answer (Q&A) session after each presentation.

INFO: CHERYL DUKELOW
Cheryl Dukelow became the Senior Commercial Officer for the U.S. Commercial Service at the Embassy of the United States in Ukraine at the end of August 2010.  She previously served as the Deputy Senior Commercial Officer in Baghdad, Iraq, from October 2007 to October 2009.  In Iraq she contributed to the 150% increase in export successes in 2008, and to an additional 80% increase in 2009.  Prior to Iraq, she served as a Commercial Officer in Moscow, Russia from 2002 to 2007, working to resolve market access barriers and on Intellectual Property Rights issues. 

Her portfolio included, Information Technology, Agriculture, Safety and Security, and Consumer Goods industry sectors. In addition, she served temporary assignments as the Principal Commercial Officer at U.S. Consulates in Saint Petersburg and Vladivostok.  She also traveled extensively throughout the country in support of the Bureau of Industry and Security. 

Ms. Dukelow joined the ranks of the Commercial Service in 1987.  She has also served in the U.S. Consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and in the U.S. Embassies in New Delhi, India; Tokyo, Japan; and Abidjan, Cote d`Ivoire.  Prior to joining the Commercial Service she spent ten years working in the IT industry in California. Cheryl attended the University of Montana, School of Mineral Science and Technology in Butte, Montana.  She is married to Gordon H. Dukelow and has two children.

DIRECTIONS TO OFFICES OF SIGMABLEYZER:  The SigmaBleyzer offices are in the Arena City/Mandarin Plaza complex across the street from the Bessarabky Market. Go to the entrance of the Pinchuk Art Centre. Next to the entrance of the Pinchuk Art Center (on the right) there is a large canopy over the sidewalk that has red signs on it for the Arena Restaurant.  Go into the open air entrance and go up the ramp or a few steps until you get to the Arena Restaurant on the LEFT.  Go left at the Arena Restaurant around the circle (Mandarin Plaza). 

Go on by the large outdoor open-air restaurant on the right.  Keep going until you come to the Baldesssarina Men's Clothing Store on the left.  Go on by the men's store and you will immediately see two dark double doors on the left.  There is a SigmaBleyzer sign there.  Go into that entrance, go up a few steps to the two elevators, get on an elevator and go to the 8th Floor.
