MYKALAYIV --- The leader of Ukraine's agrarian market NIBULON has once again demonstrated excellent prospects not only of domestic agriculture, but also of the entire Ukraine's economy,

which  despite all the difficulties, is actively developing. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman said this in the course of the opening of NIBULON's river transshipment terminal in Bilenke village (Zaporizhzhia region).

"We have a very pleasant event today. Opening of new enterprises in Ukraine means that no matter how it is difficult for us, the country develops. What do we need today? We need peace, democracy, a strong economy.

"The fact that we have witnessed the opening of such a wonderful facility today proves that the economy of Ukraine starts its renewal. I am deeply convinced that each year there will be more and more such wonderful facilities", said the Head of Government.

According to him, the task of Ukrainian companies is to conquer foreign markets, to provide the domestic market with high-quality products. "I dream that the wages of our employees in Ukraine will grow, that our country will gain leading positions in many markets of the world. We have great prospects today.

"We are doing everything to build economically strong and socially just Ukraine. And today's example shows that such people as  Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, these wonderful people who worked at this facility are making contemporary history and strong Ukraine", stressed Volodymyr Hroisman.

 
RESUMPTION OF RIVER CARGO SHIPPING, PASSENGER SHIPPING AND SHIPBUILDING

He also noted the important role of NIBULON in the resumption of river cargo shipping, passenger shipping, and shipbuilding. "In the old days this transport was quite serious. Moreover, we can use our river potential to transport goods around the world. We need a new legislative framework as well as support of the river fleet. It is very important that NIBULON has its own shipbuilding facilities. This means that we have a huge demand for the development of river transport in Ukraine. We are a marine state, we are a river state, and it would be just wrong to not use this combination", said the Prime Minister in an interview.

According to Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Administration Kostiantyn Bryl, who also attended the solemn opening ceremony, the opening of such terminal worth about UAH 500 million is an extraordinary event for the region. "It is very nice to see that such facility appeared "from scratch" in a hundred days. This is the result of the well-coordinated work of the investor, the authorities, and the local community.

"Iwant to cite this as an example of socially responsible attitude of the investor to the territory where the branch is built. NIBULON has transferred UAH 17 million to the local community. In addition, these are additional jobs. In addition, from UAH 300 to 400 thousand will go to the local budget for the development of this community", added the Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.

In the presence of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, NIBULON also signed a loan agreement with the International Finance Corporation totaling USD 100 million for business development.

According to Head of IFC Representative Office in Ukraine Olena Voloshyna, IFC will provide USD 60 million for its own account and mobilize USD 40 million from other lenders.

"This is a long-term loan. This investment will be used for further development of the company, to build such wonderful business that the company has already been able to finance. Thanks to such companies like NIBULON, the leaders of Ukrainian agribusiness, Ukraine already takes its rightful place in addressing the problem of global food security.

NIBULON has built super-efficient, super beautiful and socially responsible business. It creates jobs and provides jobs for thousands of farmers cooperating with it. The company has created business that can attract the right serious foreign investments our country needs so much", said Olena Voloshyna.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ukraine Kees Jan René Klompenhouwer noted that the opening of new terminal of NIBULON was a happy day not only for the company, but for the whole country. "One has to agree that NIBULON really proves by its actions the development of the Ukrainian economy, the Ukrainian state, contributes to the infrastructure of Ukraine.

"According to forecasts, agricultural production in the country will increase by approximately 16 million tons of grain in the next 4-5 years. And in order to transport all this volume by roads, you need to have more than 600 thousand trucks; the Ukrainian roads, unfortunately, are not ready for this. That is why special attention is paid to the development of the country's inland waterways", said Kees Klompenhouwer.

According to him, NIBULON proves that the development of water transportation and infrastructure, and the new terminal is its part, is beneficial to the company as well as to the state. "The Dnipro River is a large European river, and therefore its development will turn Ukraine into a big and powerful hub for the shipment of goods and passenger transportation", added Kees Klompenhouwer.

NIBULON's General Director, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy stressed during his speech before the thousands of locals from Bilenke village and the neighbouring villages that every new branch was significant success for the company. 

"I am a happy person because we have done everything so that many people could develop our country in an extremely difficult period. We provided more than 1,500 jobs at this branch. People worked around the clock to keep to the schedule, according to which we have built this terminal.

"I am the happiest person today because after the signing of this loan agreement I can say that we are the only company in Ukraine that has won confidence of three very important financial institutions of the world: the International Finance Corporation (a member of the World Bank Group), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the European Investment Bank", noted Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.

"I am very grateful to all financial institutions. We became the best logistics company in Ukraine, the best shipping company, the best shipbuilding company, the best in the grain market, the best in legalization of the market, the best in many areas of Ukraine's economy thanks to our cooperation. We will do everything to continue the development of Ukraine", said NIBULON's General Director. 

DEMONSTRATED "THE WAY TO REVIVE THE DNIPRO RIVER"
He also added that thanks to support of the Prime Minister, support of the President, NIBULON has demonstrated "the way how to revive the Dnipro River, how to revive the navigation, and how to revive shipbuilding in Ukraine".

"We had a rather fruitful conversation with Volodymyr Hroisman. He fully understands us, supports us, and we will help to put our ideas into development, into infrastructure, so that the Dnipro River and other rivers become Ukrainian Mississippi. So we could include the norms used in the world's best countries into the future legislative framework", stressed Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
