U.S.-Ukraine Business Council hosted Its 28th Annual Luncheon in Washington, DC on December 18, 2023.
We are excited to share highlights from an event marked by significant discussions and strategic planning.
This year's theme, "Moving Ukraine Forward in 2024", brought together esteemed leaders and experts to explore the prospects and challenges of Ukraine's development in the coming year.
A key focus of the luncheon was on "Creating Ukraine's Private Industrial/Defense Complex", a topic underscored by Ukraine's commitment to forge stronger partnerships with U.S. companies. This initiative, buoyed by President Zelensky's promises, emphasizes the critical role of American enterprises in shaping Ukraine's defense and industrial sectors.
We were honored by the presence of distinguished guests who shared their insights and visions:

Borys Kremenetskyi, Major General, Defense Attaché of the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States, who brings a wealth of military knowledge to the table
Justin McFarlin, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Development & International Engagement at the U.S. Department of Defense, offering valuable perspectives on defense and security
Charles Dean, Vice President of International Business, AeroVironment, sharing insights on aerospace and technological advancements.
