BGV Group Management Launches New Stone Crushing Plant In Zhytomyr Region

Hennadii Butkevych's investment group BGV Group Management launched a new plant in the Zhytomyr region. Granite Quarry LLC is one of Ukraine's most modern enterprises, specializing in the production of crushed stone products. The plant was completed and put into operation during the war, providing up to 200 jobs in the region.
The plant's official opening took place within First Recovery Forum: Zhytomyr Region, which was held on the territory of Granite Quarry LLC under Ukraine's Ministry of Infrastructure, the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in Ukraine, and the Rise Ukraine coalition. The main focus of the international event was to discuss the extent of the region's destruction, priority reconstruction projects, involvement of partner countries, and reconstruction tools.

"We are glad to welcome the international partners of Zhytomyr Region to our company, which the BGV investment group launched during the war,"Serhii Voitsekhovskyi, a member of the BGV Group Management's directors board, said during his speech."As business representatives, we believe in the future of this country and its potential, and thus we continue to look optimistically at the issue of restoring Ukraine and investing funds in regional business projects. Today we gathered on the territory of an innovative enterprise, the construction of which our company began before the large-scale war. Estimated investments in exploration and the launch of the company's capacities currently amount to about 22 million dollars. We will continue to invest in Ukrainian enterprises in the future because we believe that Ukraine will win, and after victory, our products will help rebuild the country"

Granite Quarry LLC, where the forum was held, conducts its industrial activities based on the Zherevske deposit with an area of 63.2 hectares and reserves of 46 million cubic meters of rock density. Thanks to the enterprise's complete reconstruction and modernization, the company launched the production of high-quality crushed stone products on high-tech SANDVIK (Sweden) equipment with an annual capacity of more than 1.5 million tons of mining mass processing.
The company purchased a new equipment fleet from leading manufacturers such as DOOSAN, LGMG (VOLVO GROUP), and HBXG (SHEHWA). Granite Quarry LLC also has its railway infrastructure with an automated wagon loading system.
Currently, the company aims to strengthen industrial capacity to increase the production of Ukrainian crushed stone, which partners already use to restore Ukrainian infrastructure.
