WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Kryukovsky Railway Car Manufacturing Plant, Kremenchuk, Ukraine, (www.kvsz.com) is a machine building enterprise with a full production cycle - from designing and manufacturing to the delivery of finished products for their customers with additional support services.  In 2019 they celebrated their 150th anniversary. 

The Kryukovsky Railway Car Manufacturing Plant (KRCMP) is a member of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), www.USUBC.org. 

Over the years the Kryukovsky Railway Car Manufacturing Plant has stayed focused on its ts main specialisation....the development of design documentation, manufacturing, sales and after-sales service of freight rail cars. More than 515,000 freight rail cars have been or are in service on railways. 

The Kryukovsky Railway Car Manufacturing Plant has developed extensive expertise and know-how, owns patents and created technical solutions related to the structural solutions of manufactured and developed products.

The plant maintains relations with leading scientific-research institutes in Ukraine to ensure a very high level of quality in the manufactured products made by the Kryukovsky railway car builders.

The company delivers its products to more than 20 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and America. The companies partners are from the USA, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Baltic States, Iran, the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China.

The private business enterprise has created more than forty-eight models and modifications of passenger cars of various types and classes: wagons with reserved seats, compartment wagons, sleeping wagons, wagons with places for transit of disabled persons, restaurant wagons, RIC clearance wagons for international traffic, interregional and commuter EMUs (160-200 kmh), interregional trains of locomotive traction (160 km/h), DMUs (160 km/h). The development and production of high speed trains (up to 250 km/h), double desk wagons of locomotive traction with the aluminum body and city trams is underway.  

An international Ukrainian-Japanese environmental project for the modernization of Kyiv Metro trains was successfully implemented by the KRCMP. As a result, the Kyiv Metro received from KRCMP twenty-seven renovated tube trains (135 cars) equipped with Japanese asynchronous traction motors. 

In 2018-2019, KRCMP (www.kvsz.com) implemented another international project in co-operation with the General Electric Company. KRCMP re-fitted, under a localization program, thirty diesel locomotives, which today operate on the railway.
