Oleg Tymkiv was appointed as DTEK's Strategy and Finance Director. As a manager with many years of experience in the field of consulting and auditing, effective strategic planning, financial management of the company and interaction with international investors will be the key tasks of Oleg Tymkiv.

In addition, Oleg Tymkiv will manage the processes of financial forecasting, providing funds for the implementation of DTEK's strategic initiatives and minimizing the negative effects of the economic crisis.

For successful implementation of the company's strategy, it is necessary to competently manage capital, attract partners and investors, improve financial business processes and the risk management system. It is extremely important for us to go through a difficult period of economic recession and crisis in the energy sector with minimal financial losses and remain the leader of the industry”, said DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko.

According to him, Oleg Tymkiv has deep professional expertise, significant managerial experience both in Ukraine and abroad.

Prior to joining DTEK, Oleg Tymkiv worked as PwC's Managing Partner in Ukraine, and was a member of the PwC regional governing bodies in Central and Eastern Europe. His professional interests include business transformation projects, development and implementation of strategies and increasing operational efficiency for public and private sector companies, and investment advice. Oleg Tymkiv is an honorary member of the Association of Certified Public Accountants (FCCA) and a certified auditor of Ukraine.
